Our work often gives us the opportunity to examine many intricately-made jewellery of various styles and period. We wonder if there is any serious effort to consolidate and summarise the various jewellery periods and movements for local audiences. This talk thus aims to unpack the characteristics of major styles and the motivations for each style, while viewing the pictorial samples with a common lens of appreciation for design.
