Submission Process

1. Submit the submission form below. One gemstone, one submission form.

2. Our staff will reach out to you by the next working day via WhatsApp (or email if WhatsApp is unresponsive) to confirm the details of your items to be submitted.

3. If the details are all correct, you can proceed to arrange for a courier to deliver the items. Please make sure that the items are properly declared to be “Samples” for the purposes of laboratory testing and analysis. The HS Code is likely to be 33021090, but please check with your courier. These are to prevent unnecessary cross-border taxations as the shipping is not for commercial sale.

4. Send us an image of the parcel and the sealing before passing it to your courier in the same message thread.

5. We will send you an image of the same parcel when we receive it before we open it for the testing. Each of this opening will be video recorded in case the content differs from the submission forms. If it differs, GemRight Gemology will inform you in the first instance and no testing will be conducted. Testing will only be conducted after resolving this issue.

6. We will inform you of the testing completion and the required payment. The items, reports, testing outcome will not be released until the payment has been received.

7. You can arrange for your courier to pick up once payment is made. We will share a photo of the parcel before we pass it to the courier as well.

Terms and Conditions of Using this Service

1. Ownership & Authority

I represent and warrant that I am the legal owner of, or duly authorised by the legal owner to submit, the item(s) described for testing by GemRight Gemology Pte. Ltd. (Singapore) (“GemRight”).

2. Nature of Services & Limitation of Liability

I understand that all testing, identification, and opinions provided by GemRight are based on gemological expertise and available testing methods, and are not guarantees.

GemRight shall exercise reasonable care in handling the submitted item(s). However, to the fullest extent permitted by law, GemRight shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or deterioration arising from or in connection with the testing process.

In all circumstances, GemRight’s total liability, if any, shall be limited to the lower of:

• the declared value of the item; or

• the fees paid for the services rendered.

3. Indemnity

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless GemRight from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from:

• any breach of my representations (including ownership or authority),

• any third-party claims relating to the submitted item(s), or

• any reliance on the report or results issued.

4. Shipping Risk & Responsibility

I acknowledge that all risks associated with shipping the item(s) to and from GemRight, including but not limited to loss, theft, damage, or delay, are borne solely by me.

I am responsible for:

• arranging appropriate insurance coverage,

• complying with all shipping, customs, and import/export requirements, and

• using secure and reputable courier services.

GemRight shall not be responsible for any issues arising during transit.

5. Customs, Duties & Delays

I acknowledge that international shipments may be subject to customs inspection, duties, taxes, or delays, and GemRight shall not be responsible for any such charges or delays.

6. Report Use & Limitations

I confirm that I have read and understood the scope, limitations, and intended use of GemRight reports as stated on its website.

I agree that:

• reports reflect findings only at the time of testing,

• results may be subject to revision based on new information or advancements in gemological science, and

• GemRight shall not be liable for any commercial, financial, or transactional decisions made based on the report.

7. Non-Payment & Abandonment

I understand that all fees must be paid in full prior to release and return of the item(s).

GemRight reserves the right to:

• retain possession of the item(s) until full payment is received, and

• after reasonable notice, treat the item(s) as abandoned if unclaimed beyond a specified period, and recover costs accordingly.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.

Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
