In this talk, we will take a walk through the sacred texts from various religions to uncover ancient mentions of gemstones and cross reference them to the relevant socio-economic contexts to explore together if gemstones will/can stand the test of time (and popular fashion trends) beyond monetary reasons.
This talk will be conducted in an exploratory and interactive way.
