This talk introduces the various concepts to begin or improve your own collection of gemstones and jewellery for different purposes, e.g. value retention, heirloom, bridal, etc. The content of the talk is an intersection of an accumulation of anonymised experiences from various seasoned collectors and current gemological understanding of rarity and visual appearance.
